Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a dental specialty that requires several (4-6 years) additional years of hospital-based medical and surgical training after graduation from dental school. Kirk F. Engel, DMD, practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to implants to corrective jaw surgery. We also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

Dr. Engel's staff is trained in assisting with I.V. (intravenous) sedation within our state-of-the-art office setting.

Our office is conveniently located in the Four Corners area of East Lyme, CT at 314 Flanders Road, Suite 1B.
