Dr. Engel has been named AGAIN as a Top Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgeon in CONNECTICUT Magazine's survey of
Connecticut dentists.  This is a significant honor as ballots were
sent to more than 2,700 of the state's practicing dentists asking
them to whom they would send a loved one in various dental

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and extensive anesthesia training after graduation from dental school.  Dr. Engel and his staff provide a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery services, from diagnosis to surgery, for problems of the jaw, teeth, and facial structures. Dr. Engel performs biopsies and extractions such as wisdom teeth removal and utilizes dental implants to replace missing teeth or to stabilize dentures. He also performs reconstructive surgery for the correction of facial deformities and injuries. Read more about our services.

We use advanced technology like digital radiography, which produces better, faster x-rays with significantly less radiation. In addition, Dr. Engel is board certified by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. We offer a full range of anesthesia for your comfort and safety during surgery.  

We work closely with your referring doctor to provide outstanding care.

You may preregister with our office by filling out our secure online New Patient Forms.  Once completed  please make sure to press the Submit button at the bottom to  send us your registration form. On your first visit to our office, we will have your completed form available for your signature. The security and privacy of your personal data is one of our primary concerns and we have taken every precaution to protect it.

Technical Note:

PC Users

Our online form uses Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 or greater plug-in to conveniently submit the form from home or work. Please download the free plug-in from Adobe's web site if it is not already installed on your system. It is important that you have at least version 9 of the plug-in to successfully use our online form.

Mac Users
