Scheduling information

We see patients by appointment Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The office is closed for lunch from 1:00 - 2:00 pm and on Wednesdays.   We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

We will do our best to see you at a time that is convenient for you.

We respect the fact that you have a busy schedule and we will do all in our power to see you on time. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Since Dr. Engel provides many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Should you need to change your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance, so that another patient may use that time.

If you are under 18 years old, you MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you are having IV anesthesia, do not have anything to eat or drink (not even water) eight hours prior to your surgery. You will also need an adult to drive you home.

 

When You Call the Office

Dr. Engel is available during designated hours to return phone calls. At times, his assistant may be able to answer your questions so that you do not have to wait. If you wish to refill a prescription, you must speak directly with Dr. Engel. Office staff personnel are not authorized to handle prescriptions.   You may preregister with our office by filling out our secure online New Patient Forms. 
Hospital Staff Affiliation

Dr. Engel has staff privileges at The William W. Backus Hospital.

Should the need arise for you to have a procedure performed in a hospital setting, our staff will provide you with information about the facility, admission procedures, and directions on how to get there.
